Formlabs has officially launched the Fuse X1, a large-format industrial SLS 3D printer designed to bring higher efficiency to in-house manufacturing, functional prototyping, and batch production. With a 330 × 330 × 565 mm build volume, Fuse X1 enables teams to print larger nylon functional parts or produce more components in a single build, helping businesses shorten development cycles, reduce outsourcing costs, and accelerate product iteration.
Powered by selective laser sintering technology, Fuse X1 uses nylon powder materials to create strong, durable, and complex parts without the need for support structures. It is ideal for product development, functional prototypes, jigs and fixtures, end-use parts, low-volume production, and industrial manufacturing applications.
Compared with traditional large-scale SLS and MJF systems, Fuse X1 offers a smaller footprint, a more intuitive workflow, and a more competitive part cost, making industrial nylon 3D printing more accessible for in-house production. Together with the complete Formlabs SLS ecosystem, Fuse X1 supports a streamlined digital manufacturing workflow from printing and powder recovery to post-processing and surface cleaning.
(This product is currently available for pre-order and will not be displayed at this year’s booth. Visitors are welcome to stop by the Taiwan Teama Technology booth to request product information and learn more about the Fuse X1 system.)
